Higher Options Goes Digital

The Irish Times Higher Options event is Ireland’s largest exhibition for learners. The exhibition, while online this year, has just as many options for school leavers, upskillers, returners to education.

This year the event will take place on the 4th and 5th November as a virtual event that will enable anyone to gather all the information they need to make an informed decision for the next step in their learning, training and career.

We will have a virtual FET stand at the event, where you can hear about all the opportunities available to you through further education and training, as well as our Generation Apprenticeship Hub where you can hear about the diverse range of apprenticeship programmes across a huge range of sectors, such as sales, engineering, crafts and professions.

We’re also holding four live talks for an in depth look at some of the routes you can take to begin or progress your career. On Wednesday, we’ll be looking at The Skills and Further Education Route and Women in Apprenticeships. Thursday’s talks will cover A Guide to Apprenticeship and The Apprenticeship Experience.

There’s lots happening to make sure to check out the full programme for info on the talks. Book your ticket here, and make sure you don’t miss out!

Higher Options is Ireland’s most comprehensive exhibition for learners of all levels as well as parents and educators. Over 160 universities, colleges, IT’s, and further education providers take part in the event every year.

Attendees will be able to engage directly with representatives from universities, colleges and education institutions from Ireland, the UK, Europe and beyond. There will be a full programme of talks and live Q&A sessions and students will be able to get information about the greatest range of courses and apprenticeships on offer from comfort of their classroom or home.
