The path to self-employment is the FET path: Viktors of V.P Interiors

The path to self-employment is the FET path: Viktors of V.P Interiors

Enrolling on a new course through Further Education and Training can open a whole new skillset, a career change, or perhaps, the potential to launch your own business and become your own boss.

That’s what happened for Viktors when he embarked on the Dry Lining course offered by Tipperary Education and Training Board.

With no previous industry experience, Viktors was delighted to discover that the Level Two City & Guilds diploma course delivered everything he needed to find his feet, from health and safety to principles of the construction industry to trade-specific modules. He says the tutors were excellent and made the course content accessible and easy to follow.

When he finished the dry lining course, Viktors continued his training on a business course, gaining the tools and knowledge he needed to set up his own business, VP Interiors.  Retraining through #FET not only gave Viktors new skills to break into a new sector, it also gave him the confidence and tools to take control of his career and become his own boss.

Tune in and watch Viktors' full story here.
